Artist's Comments

Finished! About 10-12 hours on Painter, using pencil, oils, and blenders. Woot.

The background is loosely referenced from a Fred Stone painting at my barn and the countless school photos laying around my house. The horse is entirely off the top of my head, except for the use of a model horse to get the colouring right.

Hooray.

This is just wonderful. I especially love the snout area (though, you always do well on the snouts =^@q@^= ). And I adore how the mane is all "SWOOSH." You win at life. :C :heart::heart:

actually this horse is a dun , it has a dorsel strip down its back ,,,
buckskins don't have that strip

Great coloring, the head is just a tad too big, though, for that perspective. The head would be alot smaller. The back end would be huge if the head was that big. :D But other than that, it looks great!
